1. General Consulting Services

Because Merrickson delivers bespoke systems architecture, custom workflow builds, and specialized strategy sessions, all time and materials billed for advisory hours or analysis sessions are non-refundable. Work is deemed accepted upon delivery of the relevant consult period or roadmap brief.

2. Custom Milestone Engagements

For custom process automation pipelines and architectural builds, work is executed in milestones as specified in your individual Statement of Work (SOW):

  • Deposit (Milestone 1): Initial setup and design mapping deposits are non-refundable once custom architectural work begins.
  • Development Milestones: Once a development phase is approved by the client and successfully deployed, the corresponding fee is earned and non-refundable.
  • Incomplete Phases: In the highly unlikely event that a specific milestone cannot be fulfilled due to systemic platform restrictions, the client may be eligible for a partial refund or credit equivalent to the unearned portion of that specific phase's invoice.

3. Recurring Support & Retainers

Monthly optimization and support retainers are billed in advance on a recurring schedule. Retainer fees are non-refundable. Clients can cancel recurring support schedules at any point with 30 days of written notice, after which no further monthly recurring invoices will be generated.

4. Inquiries & Billing Discrepancies

We hold ourselves to a world-class engineering standard. If you believe a billing error has occurred, or have an operational bottleneck with your custom deliverables, please contact your dedicated systems architect directly or reach out to our primary business phone number within 14 days of invoice receipt to seek a prompt resolution.
